She competed on 2 horses over the course of 8 years in 3-Day Eventing. In 2016, Claudia began her rodeo career along side her family of cowboys and cowgirls. "When I started hauling down the rodeo road with my dad and took an interest in High School Rodeo. I had one goal in particular, which was to qualify and compete at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyoming. In my rookie year I was a three event qualifier, and also got the chance to compete and to accomplish the biggest goal I'd ever set for myself. Alongside me I had my family as well as what I like to call my extended family... the faces behind Better Just Ride. Without the team here at BJR I couldn't and wouldn't have made it this far. Their products, love, and support are exceptional. I will forever stand behind BJR Branded confidently knowing they are the absolute best clothing brand in the western industry."

Tim Kemp

image7

My name is Tim Kemp and I have been steer wrestling since 2001. I was an avid baseball player until my cousin took me to a couple rodeos that he was competing in (bull riding and steer wrestling). I took a steer wrestling school the next spring and the rest is history. I travelled throughout the Ontario Rodeo Association and a few IPRA rodeos until the end of 2004 when I decided to move west to try my luck there. I competed in the Foothills Cowboy Association in Alberta, Canada until I was able to fill my Pro Card (CPRA and PRCA). I then continued to travel across western Canada and the USA to compete at the professional level until I moved back to Ontario after the 2008 rodeo season. Since moving back home I have continued to travel all across Canada and the US competing in many different rodeo associations. I have a wonderful family, my wife and 2 daughters and a career as a Millwright with Bruce Power. While I was in Alberta I purchased a young horse named "Diesel" and he has been my best travelling partner for almost 11 years. He has carried me to many championships and given me many opportunities and he has helped me to be the steer wrestler I am today! I am very happy to be a member of Team Better Just Ride as we successfully grow together!
